Practicalities
The conference will be held online via MS Teams Live Events and Discord.
Please select how you plan to take part in JURIX2020 and co-located workshops. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to approach us.
I am a speaker, moderator, panelist, workshop organizer...
Our program contains links to MS Teams Live Events (LE) holding each and every session and workshop. We are using LEs to broadcast our sessions and panels to anyone who is willing to click on the link and then to watch and listen.
To join our LEs on the production end, please wait until you receive the credentials we are currently distributing via e-mails. All our speakers, moderators and panelists will soon receive a number and a password with which they will be able to log in, using the MS Teams desktop application.
All you need to do is to follow instructions provided to you via the e-mail and to log into the MS Teams tenancy run by Masaryk University. We kindly ask all our speakers, moderators and panelists to log in at least 15 minutes before the start of their session. Please connect with your microphone turned off whenever possible. Our staff will guide you through the technicalities of presenting via MS Teams LE. Do not worry, it is super easy once you log in using the credentials.
I want to interact, ask questions and network!

Simply click on the link. Even if you already have your MS Teams account (eg. because you are using it at your institution), you can join the session anonymously. LEs do not allow audience to interact with the speakers - therefore, you do not have to worry about leaving your mic on.
We use Discord to facilitate questions from the audience and to allow conference participants to chat with each other, discuss papers and sessions and to network. If you hhave registered for the conference, you may have already received a link to join the JURIX2020 Discord server. If you have registered later, you will receive the link before the 9th December.
If you do not receive the e-mail with the link by the 9th December, please check your spam folder and then contact the organisers (send an e-mail to Jakub Harašta with subject "Discord please!").
